CILIPS Conference
Branch and Group Day
12th June 2012
Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa, 1 West Victoria Dock Road, Dundee
UC&R Scotland has a slot at the CILIPS Conference. Sarah Kevill (University of Stirling) and Laurie Roberts (Queen Margaret University) will talk about 'Library Teach Meets: low cost, high impact CPD'.
Teach Meets are informal events at which librarians from different sectors share experiences of incorporating innovation in their training sessions through short presentations or demonstrations. The presenters were involved in the organisation of the first Scottish Library Teach Meet in 2011. This paper/talk/presentation will reflect on this event, describe how technology was used to amplify the event and provide examples of how learning from tthe Teach Meet has been put into practice.
The UC&R Scotland AGM will follow the presentation.
