Brief history of Youth Libraries Group and the CILIP Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Medals

I was given rare access to the archives of YLG and also to the CILIP/CKG archives in spring 2006. What follows is not a comprehensive history, but snapshots from the past. I hope that you will find them interesting, maybe enlightening, but most of all a connection to all those people over the years who have worked so hard to make YLG such a worthwhile organisation.
