Nominations invited for Youth Libraries Group South West Committee
We currently have a number of vacancies on the Committee.
If elected you would be supporting national YLG in influencing the development of high quality library services to children and young people and supporting the professional development of librarians in this field. The Committee produces two training courses each year and you would be part of a small group who organises these on a rota basis. You would also be required to attend 3 meetings per year at venues in Bath and the surrounding area. The meetings take place in January, May and October (travel expenses paid – maximum £60). You would be required to serve a 3 year term from 21st October 2011.
Candidates must be members of the YLG working in the South West region. All nominations should be made in writing, signed by two members of CILIP in the South West region and counter-signed by the candidate to indicate consent.
