The Docusend Project
The origin of Docusend project was described
as was its context within the JISC DNER (Distributed National
Electronic Resource) Programme and, more particularly, among
the projects, which constitute the JOIN-UP cluster. The
participants in Docusend and progress to date were described
and Peter included a detailed description of how Docusend
functions, including its interoperation with the LAMDA Union
List. Peter demonstrated the benefits to practitioners participating
in Docusend, particularly in respect of the automation of
certain routine tasks, and the convenience with which scanned
documents can be delivered. Peter concluded with a summary
of Docusend objectives for the remainder of the project.
