The European interlending environment
STUART HUNT is Senior Product Specialist at
OCLC PICA, responsible for metadata and resource sharing
services. He has previously worked in academic, business,
and government libraries.
Synopsis
This presentation will examine the interlending
environment within Europe, with specific emphasis on cross-border
ILL. An assessment of the barriers to, and advantages for,
interlending at the pan-European level will be made. Examples
of different types of European interlending will be considered,
along with new and emerging models, for future development.
