| The Airports
Many daily flights link Belfast’s two airports with the four
London airports – Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton. Regular
scheduled flights also operate from many British regional airports
and the Republic of Ireland.
Belfast City Airport is two miles from the commercial heart of
the city. There is a direct bus link from the airport terminal to
Belfast Europa Bus Centre adjacent to the Europa Hotel every 40
minutes. The service operates between 06.00 and 21.50 and costs
£2.50 for a single journey. Approved taxis operate from the
airport taxi rank directly outside the terminal building. All taxis
are wheelchair-friendly. The approximate cost to Belfast city center
is £7.00.
Belfast International Airport is twenty minutes from the city center.
The Airbus service operates between the airport and the city center
every 30 minutes, Monday to Saturday and at 30 or 60 minute intervals
on Sundays. This service runs between 05.45 and 23.20. The taxi
fare to the city center is approximately £23.00.
