This year the Conference has moved from an academic venue to the prestigious Waterfront Hall (right) in the heart of Belfast on the banks of the River Lagan. The Waterfront Hall has been designed as a multi-purpose venue with ultra-modern facilities to accommodate business, conferences, arts and entertainment events. Its copper-domed roof dominates the impressive Lanyon Place development.

The plenary sessions of the HLG Conference will take place in the ntl Studio (left) which seats up to 380 people.
