Abstract
Information
literacy skills for nurses: to assess or not to assess?
This
interactive workshop looks at issues surrounding the assessment
of information literacy skills – what skills we might want to assess
and why, and how such assessments can be done. Working in groups
and supported by the facilitators, participants will design a short
assessment based on a case study. The results of a piece of action
research on assessment will also be presented, giving participants
further guidance on the issues surrounding assessment .
