Abstract
Citrix All Wales Solution:
providing access to information resources for Cardiff University
students on placements
The Citrix All Wales solution
was developed to provide connectivity back to the Cardiff University
network and its services for all University students who spend much
of their time on placement in the various district general hospitals
throughout Wales. These students need access to networked University
resources, particularly email and electronic resources, and this
can often be difficult due to limited access to Internet facilities
being made available on NHS-based computers. By using a Citrix model,
secure access to University resources is available to all Cardiff
University students throughout Wales.
