Biography

Natalie has worked in the newly created post of Health Evidence Support Specialist at Mid Yorkshire since May 2005. Prior to that she worked within Public Health at North Kirklees PCT for two years. Her role is to work with staff in all NHS organisations across the North Kirklees and Wakefield district to ensure that patient care is based on evidence and best practice.

Confidence in Caring

The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is currently participating in a national project, ‘Confidence in Caring' which aims to spotlight caring in nursing. This project has seen staff members from nursing teams, library services and patient liaison services come together to work as a project team for the first time, which has had its benefits and its failings.
