Abstract
Clinical
question answering services: establishing standards and improving
quality
In
our presentation, we will review two aspects of our work:
- Firstly,
an overview of the current development needs of existing CQASs
and how the standards will address them. How can the process by
which CQASs work be made more explicit and transparent to users?
How can the quality of the searches and their results be enhanced?
- Secondly,
we will discuss the wider strategic issues that our work raised.
What system do clinicians' need to answer their questions? What
more can we do to provide clinicians with evidence, processed
and tailored to their needs, so that they can practice better?
