Abstract

Increasingly librarians are now being asked to provide good quality evidence in a time limited environment.

This workshop aims to offer a greater understanding of the critical appraisal process and discusses practical and time efficient ways to reduce the number of irrelevant results while maintaining quality by incorporating some of the principles of the Clinical Evidence information specialists. No previous experience of critical appraisal is necessary.. Practical opportunities for participants to critically appraise search results will be provided.
