Bradley Stoke Library & Sports Centre

Bradley Stoke Library & Sports Centre - Active is a South Gloucestershire Council project which has joined up membership between a range of partners including the library service, leisure centres, PCT and active lifestyles. As well as reducing the number of membership cards residents need, the partnership is using ground breaking marketing techniques to target users. This includes use of the Sport England database to identify the style of marketing that would appeal to residents in specific communities and produce individual magazines based on the resident's age and address. 

The visit to Bradley Stoke Library and Leisure Centre will include a session on the issues the project has faced, an opportunity to view some of the marketing used and a tour of the centre. Mark Crutchley, Chief Executive of South Gloucestershire Leisure Trust, and Martin Burton, Head of Library, Arts & Information Services at South Gloucestershire Council will speak to the delegates.
