the
value of libraries in their communities
This
year's conference which explores the importance of community involvement
in the development of library services.
Speakers from a wide range of backgrounds will provide insights
into the impact of libraries on individuals and communities through
work with young people, health, digital neighbourhoods and much
more.
The
conference is aimed at senior library managers, directors and elected
members whose portfolios include libraries.

Public
Library Buildings Awards 2009
The
winners of these prestigious awards will be announced and presented
during the conference by author and raconteur Gervase
Phinn.
