New
windows – libraries engaging with young people

should young people expect library services to offer? This is the
question the National Youth Libraries Board, which The Reading Agency
is part of, has been working to answer. Find out more about the
services libraries can, and should, be providing for young people
and how teenagers can get involved. Alex and Alexander, aged 15,
will share their experience of leading the emerging Big Secret library
campaign and getting active through their library youth council.
Hear about the Library Offer to Young People in action through HeadSpace
and other models, and ways in which members can help make the Offer
a reality within their authorities.
