Biography

Mary has worked for Gateshead Libraries for over 20 years. She has been in her current post since December 2002 (on the establishment of the new Cultural Development Service, which brought Libraries Arts, Tourism, Events, Sport and Leisure together within one service). She is a Member of the Cultural Development Management Team, to which her key responsibilities are to coordinate the management of Human Resources across Cultural Development and to promote a learning culture across the service.
