South East YLG Branch Report –
July 2003

The committee met on 11 April 2003 at Guildford Library. There has been continuing good support for the new committee with seven members attending and a further five sending apologies from across the new region.

Issues were addressed including the aims and objectives, constitution and geography of the region.

Work also went into planning the first training day called “What’s going on?” This is intended to introduce the new region and the regional agenda while also including practical case studies of developments in the region. The programme cover itself included a good map of the region. This course was due to happen in June, but has been postponed due to the venue in Reading cancelling all its bookings at short notice.

The SE committee meets again on July 15 in Guildford to plan for future developments.
