This issue's spotlight is a final update article by the HLG Conference Team before the forthcoming CILIP Health Libraries Group Conference which takes place at Scarborough Spa on Tursday 15th to Friday 16th September 2016.

Lynsey Hawker, Information Specialist from The King’s Fund is the author of the third article entitled "The creation of the NHS to the present day: how healthcare library and information services have evolved". "Human Library – where reading is a conversation" is authored by Paula Elliott, Library Manager, Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and Mrs Clare Inkster, Consultant Ophthalmologist and Associate Dean, HEE NW. The last two articles are entitled "A day in the life of a pharmaceutical librarian" authored by Helena Dean, Library and Information Specialist, Library and Information Centre, Roche Products Limited and "Knowledge for Healthcare Website" authored by Matt Holland, Communications Lead for the Knowledge for Healthcare Workforce Planning and Development Working Group.
