Job sharing is where one full time job is split between two people; each partner covers every aspect of the job. They share the pay and benefits in proportion to the hours each works. They either work split days, split weeks, or alternate weeks. Although the majority of job sharers are women with childcare responsibilities, it is something that everyone can embrace irrespective of age or gender.
