Everybody has the right to be treated with dignity at work. Workplace bullying is intimidating or persecuting a person or group of employees, which results in the victims’ performance being undermined. Bullying can take many forms including open aggression, threats, shouting, abuse, ridicule, excessive supervision, and constant criticism.

The problem needs to be tackled promptly rather than ducking the issue.

Dealing with under achieving staff is one of the most difficult management responsibilities. One employee’s sub-standard work can affect the whole team, leading to resentment, lack of motivation and productivity and even to resignations.
