David Nicholas
Biography:
David is Director of the School of Library, Archive and
Information Studies (SLAIS) at University College London.
He is also the Director of the UCL Centre for Publishing and Director
of the CIBER research group. Previously Head of Department, Department
of Information Science, City University. Research interests largely
concern mapping behaviour in virtual spaces, the virtual scholar,
and the health information consumer. Currently engaged in investigations
of: the use and impact of e-journals (for the Research Information
network), open access publishing (OUP), e-books (for JISC) and scholarly
researcher behaviour (T&F).
