Professor Julie McLeod

Julie McLeod is Professor in Records Management in the School of Engineering , Computing and Information Sciences at Northumbria University, joining after a career in industry.  She has worked on innovative work-based and distance learning training and education with the BBC, The National Archives, the European Central Bank, and leads the MSc Records Management (distance learning) programme.  A member of the BSI and ISO committees on records management standards, she has conducted JISC and AHRC funded research, and is currently leading a 3-year project Accelerating positive change in electronic records management) ( www.northumbria.ac.uk/acerm ). She has published widely, holds positions on the boards of other esteemed journals, was a member of the AHRC Peer Review Panel for Libraries, Museums and Archives and in 2007 was awarded a Personal Chair in Research at Northumbria University.
