Barbara Stratton is CILIP's senior copyright adviser and is Secretary to LACA: the Libraries and Archives Copyright Alliance, which is convened by CILIP. She is a leading advocate on behalf of libraries, within the UK and at European and international level, for the achievement of a fair and balanced copyright regime which protects access to knowledge in both the digital and analogue environments, allows the development of library services and safeguards users' digital rights.
