Paul
Pedley is
Head of Research at the Economist Intelligence Unit, and has previously
worked in the information departments of a law firm, a property
developer, and a number of government departments.
Paul is a Visiting Professor
at London Metropolitan University, is a member of the Libraries and
Archives Copyright Alliance, and Director of Studies for CILIP's Umbrella
2007 conference. He regularly runs training courses on copyright and
other legal issues, and is the author of an e-book Digital Copyright,
Essential law for information professionals (2nd edition) and Managing
Digital Rights: a practitioner's guide (editor), all published by
Facet Publishing.
