Presentation 1: LAMs converging @ The University of Calgary
Bringing
together libraries, archives, museums, and the university
press for the benefit of scholars, the University of Calgary
is building a 21st century research facility in the heart
of its campus. The Taylor Family Digital Library will house
a "collection of the future" integrating access to traditional
print, museum, and archival materials with digital and three-dimensional
objects, media formats and onsite broadcasting and telecommunications.

presentation 2: LAMs converging in York
The
City of York has recently launched an ambitious new plan to
bring the central library and the archives together. Public
libraries bring a strongly service-oriented perspective to
the discussion about library, archive and museum collaboration.
York also operates a heritage learning network which brings
libraries, archives and museums together in the learning agenda
