Heather Sherman   

Biography 

Heather Sherman joined Dawson Books in 2005 having spent 10 years working as Systems Manager at the University of Hertfordshire. A Chartered Librarian, Heather works closely with customers to implement the value added services from Dawson. Heather also ensures that Dawson keeps pace with developments affecting all libraries. Recently this has involved forging partnerships with all major RFID suppliers.

Abstract:

For book suppliers to offer a truly shelf ready service they must keep pace with all new developments affecting libraries. One of Dawson's most recent projects has been to work with all major RFID suppliers to enable us to insert and pre-programme RFID tags and ensure that books arrive in the library ready for immediate shelving.
