SUCCESSFUL
CONFERENCE IS RATED 95% GOOD TO EXCELLENT
Delegates
gave their seal of approval to CILIP's third RFID in Libraries conference
(13 November) with an overall 95% Good to Excellent rating.
Almost 190 attendees packed the
QEII Conference Centre in London to hear expert presentations and
Case Studies, see a live videocast from the US, and quiz suppliers
in the Vendors Discussion Forum.
One
highlight was the presentation of the first BIC/RFID
in Libraries Group Award to Nick Lewis, Head of Library Collections
at the University of East Anglia.

Demonstrations
With
support from 10 sponsoring companies, the RFID Demonstrations, were
a hive of activity allowing delegates in depth demonstrations on
RFID equipment.

Executive
Briefing
New
for 2007 is a link up with the UK's RFID Centre at Bracknell in
Berkshire, which will present a post-conference half-day Executive
Briefing titled An Introduction to RFID on 28 November.
It will include a tour of the Centre's extensive demonstration suite
in Bracknell.
