Sue Storey

Biography:  Sue Storey has worked in academic libraries for 17 years and has been Head of Library Customer Services at the University of Nottingham since 2002. She is responsible for the strategic development of lending and general enquiry services at her 12 library sites. From 2004 to 2006 she led the Self Service Project installing machines at her 6 largest libraries.

Abstract: University of Nottingham - Thinking Big

Starting in 2004 the University of Nottingham has developed a major self service installation across its six largest libraries with over half a million items RFID tagged. Sue will describe practical aspects of the project as well as the significant impact RFID has had not only on lending services but also as a basis for further change and service developments across the library.
