RFID
is an established technology commonly used in logistics, supply
chain and retail environments because of the significant productivity
and efficiency benefits it can bring. It also has direct applications
in the library, document and information management space where
it has the potential to dramatically increase levels of service.
The price point of the technology has fallen and can now give a
very attractive return on investment. This is CILIP's fourth
conference on RFID in Libraries - a must for anyone looking to learn
about contemporary methods and enhanced service delivery.
