The conference programme featured a record 14 speakers and included special parallel discussion sessions for the first time. Also new was a lunchtime Meet the Experts RFID clinic, and once again the BIC/CILIP RFID Innovation Award was presented at the event.

This year's winner of the BIC/CILIP RFID Innovation Award is Catherine Cooke of Westminster Libraries.
