Abstract
- Keynote: RFID Implementation - a Checklist for Libraries
RFID has
the potential to revolutionise processes in libraries, just as it
has in other businesses - but where to begin? This session
introduces a checklist, produced by the BIC/CILIP RFID in Libraries
Group, which outlines a number of questions to consider before plunging
into the world of tags and scanners. Offering a structured
approach to choosing a system, it also indentifies some of the non-technical
aspects of implementation that need to be taken into account.
