Qualifications and training

The flexible CILIP Framework of Qualifications allows you to build on existing educational qualifications, work-based learning and work experience to gain awards and qualifications that are highly regarded and internationally recognised.

Throughout your career you will need a commitment to continuing personal and professional development to remain effective. This can be achieved in many ways; through the professional awards and qualifications that make-up the Framework of Qualifications – Certification, Chartership, Revalidation and Fellowship; through attendance at CILIP exhibitions, conferences and briefings; or through the many learning opportunities in the 150 courses run each year by CILIP Training & Development.

Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework

ACLIP Certification has been successfully credit rated by the Scottish Qualification Authority. Using the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF), Certification has been assessed at Level 8, allowing holders of the ACLIP to claim up to 20 points in academic credits.

This will aid employers recruiting the right people for their jobs and will help candidates assess their level of learning.
