Communities of Practice allows candidates access to more information about you as a mentor.
If you have already registered on the CILIP website you can use your user name and password to get into the Communities of Practice (CoP) site from the CILIP homepage or enter http://communities.cilip.org.uk/.
If you haven't already registered then click here: www.cilip.org.uk/register and follow the instructions for new registration.
Once you have added your details email quals@cilip.org.uk with your user name where the link will be added to your details in the mentor list.
Your profile:
As a mentor the important information will be in Biography and About.
If you have a digital photo and would like to upload it under the Avatar tab, please read this advice from the Web Editor, Stephanie Baxter:
Most of you are keen to include images on your websites. Please be careful about resizing images. You should do this before loading them. If you load a huge file and then resize it onscreen - unfortunately this condenses the file and you end up with something which doesn't look very good and is still 1Mbyte in size.
