Practical information for Infomatch temps:
Timesheets
In order to process your pay promptly it is essential that your timesheet is completed accurately and returned to us on time each week.
- Timesheets must be completed with all times rounded to the nearest quarter of an hour: 0.25, 0.5, 0.75
- Date your timesheet as Week Commencing
- Provide a contact number at work, in case of any timesheet queries.
Once you have completed your timesheet:
- Get it checked and signed by your line manager
- Fax it back to Infomatch on 020 7255 0571 on Friday, or by Monday morning at the very latest if you are working over the weekend.

Getting Paid
Timesheets are processed on Monday morning and your pay should be transferred into your specified bank account by the end of the working day on the following Friday. We will notify you on the occasions when bank holidays will affect this system.
Time spent travelling to and from work, and lunch or rest breaks, are not usually counted as working time on an assignment.
If you have any timesheet or pay queries, contact us. For any tax enquiries, contact your tax office directly.

Annual leave and how to book it
Under the Working Time Regulations all temporary workers are entitled to 24 days' paid annual leave per year. Annual leave is accrued as your contract progresses according to the hours worked. The annual leave year starts on the date on which you commence your temporary assignment.
To book annual leave:
- Inform your line manager of when you want to take your annual leave. Please give them as much notice as possible. They may also ask for notice of annual leave to be given in writing.
- Let Infomatch know by completing a leave booking form and faxing it through with your timesheet.
- On your timesheet mark clearly the days you are taking as 'paid annual leave'.
Annual leave cannot be carried forward from one leave year to the next.
Bank holidays can be counted as annual leave (please inform us if you wish to be paid). Employers can specify that certain days are included in the statutory leave i.e. government/public holidays.
Please note that there is no limit to the amount of unpaid leave that you can take, although we do ask that you always discuss this with us and your line manager first.

Rest Breaks
Under the Working Time Regulations you are entitled to minimum periods of rest from work. We monitor weekly timesheets and take note of temps who are working especially long hours. In these cases we will contact you to ensure that you are being offered the breaks you are entitled to. If necessary, we will pursue the situation with your line manager. Some additional information on rest breaks is provided here, but please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your hours of work.
Hourly: You should be offered a 20 minute break if you are working for more than 6 hours per day. If possible this should be away from your work area.
Daily: You are entitled to 11 hours rest from working every 24 hours.
Weekly: You are entitled to a minimum of 1 day’s rest from work each week or 2 days every 2 weeks.
You should not be required to work more than 48 hours each week, unless you have agreed to do so in writing. (This is worked out as an average over a 17-week period.)
