Analysis of 2004 Salary Guide Survey Results
In the quest for more accurate and effective salary information, and a clearer picture of the “state of the profession”, CILIP undertook a survey of it’s members during the Autumn of 2004.
The survey was analysed by LISU on behalf of CILIP, and the

The 2,589 fully completed questionnaires were analysed on the basis of region, sector, gender, staffing, qualifications and skills. Respondents were also asked to answer whether they knew the goals of the organisation that they work for; how valued they feel; what organisations they are a member of; and what they would like CILIP to do to improve their professional standing.
