Employment Law Helpline
Members of CILIP have access to a telephone helpline run by The Work Foundation, which is staffed by experienced HR practitioners who can provide you with realistic, practical advice on the law and personnel issues.
CILIP members can call the helpline and will receive:

An immediate, reliable answer to employment issues.

A clear explanation and exploration of the implications of each enquiry.

A suggested best practice approach to deal with the issues.
This advice is free to CILIP members and there are no set limits on call time or the number of calls made by an individual.
CILIP members can use the service between 9am and 5pm Monday – Friday. Please quote your CILIP membership number when you contact the service.
