Paying by Direct Debit is an easy and convenient way to pay your CILIP subscription. You can choose to pay in a single payment or in 10 installments (taken on or around the 1st of each month).

To set up a Direct Debit we need you to complete and sign this instruction and return it to us with your Membership Application Form.

Our Direct Debit Guarantee

If you have previously set up a Direct Debit with us then there is no need to set up a new one each year – we will continue taking subscription payments unless you inform us that you wish to resign from membership. We will of course remind you that your subscription is due for renewal and keep you informed if your subscription payment changes.

A Direct Debit guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that take part in the Direct Debit scheme. Your own bank or building society will monitor and protect the efficiency and security of the scheme.

If the amounts to be paid or the payment dates change, CILIP will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.

If an error is made by CILIP or your bank or building society, you are guaranteed a full and immediate refund from your branch of the amount paid.

You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by writing to your bank or building society. Please also send a copy of your letter to us.

Please note - we are unable to cancel a Direct Debit instruction with your bank on your behalf.  If you wish to change your payment method or resign from membership we ask you to also cancel the instruction with your bank to prevent us taking a payment by mistake.
