If you have previously been a member of CILIP (and have let your membership lapse for a year or more) or its predecessor bodies the Library Association (LA) or the Institute of Information Scientists (IIS) then you can restart your membership by completing an application form.
If you were a Chartered member of the LA or a Full member of the IIS then you can rejoin as a Chartered member of CILIP and you are entitled to use the post-nominals MCLIP. The same applies to former Fellows.
If you were an Associate member or an Affiliate you can rejoin in the same category.
