CILIP has a special category for overseas members living outside the UK, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
It is a personal membership category for individuals and it is open to anyone working with knowledge, information or in a library.
Overseas members are entitled to the full range of
CILIP services and benefits
, with the exception of
Library and Information Gazette
. However, they can choose to receive this fortnightly publication if they pay an annual postage charge of £40.
Overseas members are able to vote in elections and stand for CILIP offices.
A note for residents of the Republic of Ireland:
Residents of the Republic of Ireland can choose to join CILIP as Overseas Members or as UK Associates or Affiliates.
