Funeral and CILIP commemoration

Bob McKee, CILIP’s Chief Executive, sadly passed away on 13th August 2010 while attending the IFLA Conference in Sweden.

A funeral service will be held at 1.30pm on Thursday 9th September at the Solihull Methodist Church, Blossomfield Road, Solihull, B91 1LG.

Flowers to the Cooperative Funeral Services, Stirchley, Birmingham, or donations to the British Heart Foundation in Bob McKee’s name would both be welcome.

An event to celebrate the life of Dr Bob McKee will take place on 28th October 2010 in London. This commemoration will be organised by CILIP: the Chartered Institute of Library & Information Professionals. Further details will be announced in due course.
