Group Only Membership

You don’t have to be a library and information professional to our Special Interest Groups. You can join us as a group only member. Group only memberships are available for a maximum of two years and becoming a group member costs only £50 per year*.

Each group is unique and tailors its offer to its membership, typical benefits include:

Discounted rates for events, conferences and training

Being a group only member is not the same as being a CILIP member. Being a member of CILIP costs £100 a year with discounted rates for concessions and the option to upgrade as a Leader. The benefits include membership of as many Special Interest Groups as you like, support for your career, magazines and newsletters, networking with other members and by joining CILIP you will support our advocacy for the sector.

*Some groups have specific terms and conditions and restrictions on who may join, please read these carefully before you apply.
