CILIP has convened a new Preservation and Conservation Alliance (PACA) to formulate policy and initiate action on issues of preservation, conservation, security and heritage whether written, visual, printed, spoken or electronic.

  • Education in preservation
  • Ephemera (actioning the Joint Committee's 2003 report)
  • Future funding of the National Preservation Office
  • Heritage Lottery Fund Advisory Service for the library and information science sector
  • Iraq and Afghanistan (cultural heritage)
  • Science Museum Library
  • Smaller heritage libraries
  • Tsunami disaster (cultural heritage)
