Policy and advocacy are core CILIP activities.
We promote a strong CILIP presence on matters of professional policy and advocate the value of librarians and information professionals, and the services they provide. We also comment authoritatively on relevant issues of the day.
Policy areas
CILIP is concerned with a broad range of policy areas such as information society, learning, health, culture, community development, economic development and business success.
