The Research Policy was developed on behalf of CILIP by the Library and Information Research Group (LIRG). It was endorsed by CILIP Council on 29 June 2005. LIRG will continue to play an important part in partnership with the Policy Development Committee in developing and implementing the policy and its associated strategy.
