The Chartership Board is made up of volunteers who are senior information professionals. They meet five times a year to discuss Chartership and Fellowship applications. The turnaround for applications is between two and six months, sometimes this can be much longer. You can see the processes that lead to a final decision on the portfolio timeline.

After the Board meeting candidates will be informed of the status of their application within two weeks.
