January 2008 - Certification and Revalidation - get your applications in now...
Members of the CILIP Assessment Panels (CAPs) are assessing applications as they are receievd and the majority of candidates will receive results within three months of submission. There will be five CAP meetings in 2008.
January 2008 -- Chartership candidates registered under 2002 regulations.
Remember, if you want to use the 2002 regulations you must submit your portfolio before the end of December 2008. If you don't you will need to use 2005 regulations, you won't need to re-register.
August 2007 - Certification Category 1:
Candidates, and prospective candidates, are reminded that no further applications under Category 1 will be accepted after 31 December 2008. From 1 January 2009 applications for Certification will be under a single category regardless of the length of time that applicants have been employed in library and information work.
January 2006 - Portfolio presentation and submission.
All portfolios should be submitted in triplicate, each bearing your name, membership number and current post. Portfolios may be three printed copies or two printed copies plus one electronic copy.
Portfolios may not be submitted solely in electronic format.
