NOTES: Corpus Christi College is a small, friendly community of undergraduates, graduates and Fellows. The Library supports research across the humanities, and in the social and natural sciences. NOTES: King Edward VI School is one of the highest-achieving schools in Staffordshire. The Library Resource Centre at King Edward VI has been used as an example of best practice for other school libraries in the county and is regarded very highly within the local Library and Information Profession. The post of Library Resource Centre Assistant at King Edward VI School would be an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is seeking to gain work experience in a school library. This may be with the intention to embark on a postgraduate course in Library and Information Studies, or a PGCE. The successful candidate will gain experience in all aspects of managing a school library, with full training given by the LRC Manager. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm for working with young people, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good information retrieval and ICT skills and will be able to multi-task.
