CILIP | Notes on the Body of Professional Knowledge

The CILIP Body of Professional Knowledge (BPK) aims to describe the specialist subject knowledge that Library or Information staff are expected to acquire for professional practice. This document provides a commentary on the BPK and gives examples of how it may be used in preparing for Certification, Chartership, Fellowship and Revalidation of Chartership and Fellowship

These notes on the CILIP Body of Professional Knowledge (50.5KB) were created by the Hertfordshire County Council to support ACLIP applications by their staff. They provide a very helpful supplement to the BPK.
