RFID moves into the mainstream to deliver cost-effective new services

New offerings sparked by the introduction of agreed standards to RFID systems used in libraries is the focus of CILIP’s sixth annual RFID in Libraries conference, which includes plenary and workshop sessions and a supporting exhibition. This follows the outstanding success of last year’s event, which delegates rated 97% Good to Excellent.

The cutting-edge programme has been developed by Mick Fortune of Library RFID. It features top-level speakers who will both make presentations, including Case Studies, and run sessions on starting out and moving on with RFID. During the lunch break a Meet the Experts RFID Clinic will enable delegates to discuss specific issues with leading industry figures.

Delegates will also be able to get hands on with the latest technology provided by leading suppliers during refreshment breaks, and the BIC/CILIP RFID in Libraries Group will present its fourth annual RFID Innovation Award. This year's conference promises to be the best yet!
