Affiliated membership
Where do you fit in?
If you are a library assistant or hold a clerical or administrative post within a library or information service, then you can become an Affiliated Member of CILIP. If you work in a non-professional or para-professional post and wish to contribute to, and benefit from, the work of CILIP, this is the right category for you. By joining in this category you will enjoy most of the same benefits as a full professional member, but at a preferential rate. (If you are a graduate trainee please enquire about Student Membership as this is the appropriate category for you.)
The committee is made up of members from all parts of the country, and nomination for membership is open to all affiliated members. If you are interested in joining please contact the Chair of the committee, or the Secretary who will be pleased to discuss this with you.
